Combining
Passion, Drive and Creativity into Beautiful Art
Sarinda
Jones has been fascinated with art since she was a small
girl. She was always looking for something different and
instinctively knew that most people delight in finding
unique items they’ve never seen anywhere else. To incorporate
her love of art into a living, she established her first
business offering nail artistry. In 2003, she was able
to pursue her true passion and opened a business that
specializes in creating and selling unique one-of-a-kind
art pieces in the form of jewelry and glassware.

Reflective
Art is located
at 301 East 1700 South. Although Sarinda specializes in
creating handmade jewelry, including necklaces and bracelets,
and unique and decorative glass art, she is also skilled
at creating custom glass pieces to meet customer requirements.
Her jewelry pieces incorporate a distinctive mix of silver,
brass and copper in the form of metal sheets, wire and rivets
as well as semi-precious and synthetic stones. Functional
glass art is available in the form of bowls, platters, dishes,
backlit wall sconces and window hangings. Classes in both
jewelry and glass art are also available. You can find Sarinda’s
products in local galleries and boutiques such as the Patrick
Moore Gallery, Whimsy and Red Butte Gardens. Her one-of-a-kind
jewelry is also carried in select salons like NV Salon and
Switch, as well as a boutique called The Urban Blossom in
Texas.

While
Sarinda has spent years honing her experience, she has also

Studio in Seattle, an internationally recognized glass school
co-founded by Dale Chihuly. |

In
May of 2004, a $10,000 Utah microenterprise loan enabled
Reflective Art to purchase jewelry and glassware equipment
and materials needed to meet the growing demand for her
art pieces. Since that time, she has gone from selling
little glass stars at the Farmer’s Market to doing
one-of-a-kind commissioned pieces. In 2006, Sarinda also
received the prestigious invitation to be one of four
special guest artists at the Utah Arts Festival. |

brilliance. When you visit with Sarinda, ask her how a
microenterprise loan allowed her to combine her talents
and passion into a successful small business. |
