Mr. Propre Cleaning

Salt Lake City, Utah

Fredrick Mongue & Patricia Happi

Providing Utah Workers With a Healthy, Comfortable Environment

Patricia Happi has provided cleaning services from Paris, France to Salt Lake City, Utah! Patricia was very happy as she operated her own successful cleaning business in France from 1995 to 1999. In 2000, she and her husband decided to move to be closer to his family which meant crossing the ocean and settling in the Salt Lake Valley . After two years of working as a reservation supervisor at Alamo Rent A Car, Patricia decided it was time to get back to her dream of owning her own business and she opened Mister Propre Cleaning in 2001.

With offices located at 455 East 400 South, Suite 201-A in Salt Lake City, Mister Propre Cleaning is a janitorial/custodial company that offers cleaning services to owners of residential homes, commercial business buildings and offices. Although Patricia started out only cleaning residential homes, when she got her first Salt Lake county contract, she needed uniforms, equipment, a truck and money for payroll. Quality performance has resulted in a ever growing customer base, including the Utah Transit Authority.

“The UMLF loan gave us the push we needed. We wouldn’t think twice about going back.”

     Patricia Happi

The $10,000 microenterprise loan Patricia and Fredrick received in December 2001 has enabled them to build a business that provides a full time living supporting themselves and their three small children. Starting out with five employees and sales of around $5,000 per month, the company has quadrupled in size with 22 employees and monthly sales averaging $25,000.

You can reach Mister Propre Cleaning at (801) 355-1853. Ask Patricia to share her experience with how the Utah Microenterprise Loan Fund got her dream back on track to owning her own business.
